Driving positive change

Derby-based Tidyco, a supplier of hydraulic and pneumatic products to the UK rail industry for over 40 years, continues to build strong relations with the Rail Forum East Midlands.

Tidyco is delighted to announce that marketing manager, Barry Aldridge has been elected onto the Board of Directors for Rail Forum East Midlands.

Tidyco recognises that the RFEM is a valuable resource within the industry and is helping to shape the future of rail. Importantly, RFEM plays an influential role in growing commerce and supporting local businesses.

Rail Forum East Midlands, formerly known as the Derby and Derbyshire Rail Forum (DDRF), represents over 150 businesses across the East Midlands, employing over 25,000 people and contributing £2.6bn to the local economy.

Formed in 1993 the DDRF was originally created to promote the area as a world class centre of rail excellence.

Members include infrastructure and rolling stock designers and consultancies, installers, manufacturers, OEMs and a wide range of service providers to the industry.

Today the Rail Forum East Midlands works strategically with both UK and regional governments, the Rail Supply Group (RSG) and our local LEPs as well as continuing to support our members through specific events.
